I wouldn't worry too much about one time use (in terms of long term damage). It does sound like you're experiencing a relatively normal 'crash' response. If you're feeling actively suicidal then go to the hospital.
If you can make it on your own, you will recover. Your brain needs time to resynthesize the neurotransmitters that were rapidly released. If you are not feeling better within a week, then again, I would see a doctor.
The real question (as mentioned) was when you said:
"I am tired of missing work, sobbing in the shower, distracted from my life."
Was any of this happening before using? Or has it only happened afterwards?
If you can get your hands on the antihistamine "chlorpheniramine", it can help reduce withdrawal symptoms.
