I'm curious if anyone has tried using a compound pharmacy for their antidepressants. (I specifically have bupropion in mind, but am curious regardless of the antidepressant in question.)
My thinking is that with drug company medications there seems to be so much variability from one batch to the next in terms of where in the world the medication was manufactured and dispensed from, which could potentially lead to inconsistent levels from one batch to the next.
With a compound pharmacy, on the other hand, especially one that's local to you, you'd know and have a hopefully trusting relationship with the actual person or people who are making your drugs. And, of course, there would potentially be the ability to customize things in a way that you can't with drug company medications.
Anyway, curious to get folks' thoughts on this, especially anyone who has ever gone down that route. Among other things, curious if this is even doable!
