Do you have any idea of how it feels to be a member of a group of four or five people who are being compared to that experiment?
Do you have any idea what it feels like to wake up every morning and read Admin?
I may be an arrogant prig, but I had the insane idea that I was doing good here. I even used to tell my therapist that I felt like this was my calling to do good in this world.
What an idiot I was.
I haven't told him that in a very long time. I've told him that I seem to be spending an awful lot of my time causing an awful lot of harm, and that it's one more area in my life where everything I do is wrong. There are so d*mn many of those.
