hey! good to read your post! i just had my first acupuncture appointment today. i was surprised at how it was, though i had no idea what to expect. i went to a teaching institute, so there was a student and a faculty attending overseeing. my treatment is mostly for nausea/vomiting and dizziness, and the first treatment was great. the needles didn't hurt, and i felt sooo relaxed. much better than xanax! i was afraid of being exposed physically, esp since my mom sat in, but they were very good about protecting modesty and giving me a blanket and letting me cover as much as possible with my gown. i'm going 2x a week for awhile and will see how it goes! hope to hear more news from you! cb
