There's no need whatsoever to supplement any source of omega 6's. We get WAY too many of these in our diet today when we need to be getting more omega 3's. Plus, I think the idea that omega 6's in excess would be estrogenic is nonsense. Plenty of people in the USA get 40 times more omega 6's than our ancestry has had and I don't see them growing feminine features. Don't worry about that. The fish oil is good, though, very good.

If you really want help as far as oils besides fish oil, watch to make sure that the fats he eats are refined as little as possible. For example, chips are horrible. Not only do they usually use an oil like cottonseed oil, which is very high in omega 6's, but the oil is extremely oxidized which can lead to a strong metabolic burden on his antioxidant levels. Diets that lower antioxidant levels can result in decreased cognitive function.

Supplement with extra virgin coconut oil or olive oil if he'll go with it... both are extremely healthy.
