Two capsules at a time seems ok, which is 2000 mg of orotate, it was just 3 that was too much.

I got mine at Beyond a Century.

I'm not meaning to take it as my main form of magnesium. But if more gets to where it should go by being mg orotate, then perhaps I can take less magnesium over all, so I am interested in that aspect.
> Not sure how often you take magnesium.. most take it twice a day if they need a lot , but I'm sure you have that bit down pat ;-)
Yeah, I'm always playing around with it but mostly I take it at night or very early morning, if I'm not really up yet.

> OK I even recall someone discussing them smewhere before...but I'd love to know what you think of themI bought mine at my local health food store. It was only $10 and is really a low tech plastic contraption. It's in two pieces, and you fill the top piece with the capsule halves being level, then adjust these little levers that hold up the top piece, which drops the capsules down exposing the top of them so you can put on the second half. Since it seemed like there was some waste left in the capsule, I was also dragging the top half through some of the filling, so they were really full. It was a pain, and quite messy, but has some advantages.
There's one sold at iHerb that's more expensive. Perhaps it's less labor intensive.
