anti-depressive: omega-3 fatty acids uridine ?

Posted by dessbee on November 24, 2006, at 10:29:15

Rat experiments has shown that omega-3 fatty acids and uridine (a natural substance found in foods) work just as well as antidepressants in preventing signs of depression

Uridine is an important element found in mother's milk and baby formula and is essential for early nerve growth. Uridine also occurs in sugar beets and molasses made from those beets.
Uridine hasn't been clinically tested on people with mood disorders
