Could it be that these people are consuming too much of the omega 6 which I have read can promote inflammation? I have also read that the more omega-6 fatty acids people had in their blood compared with omega-3 fatty acid levels(which have been said to reduce inflammation), the more likely they were to suffer from depression. Perhaps the consumption of omega 3 and omega 6 need to be properly balanced in order to produce better results.
