There were some small clinical trials of DLPA decades ago. They used doses of 75mg to 250mg. Results were very good, but being so long ago you kind of have to question the methodology and accuracy a little bit.
Tyrosine is aweful, for me anyway. But DLPA I kind of liked. It was not a miracle or anything, but helped in subtle ways. I ran into trouble with it causing tinnitus to be louder and also started some tingling in my fingers. I was only taking 75mg. I have a lot of complications, so it wasn't DLPAs fault. I want to try DPA instead of DLPA.
Effects on that small dose....
Mild endurance/energy boost during the day.
Mild improvement of mood.
Mild improvement of social comfort.
A little harder to get to sleep, but sleep was much deeper.
A little harder to go pee.The benefits were subtle and began to be noticeable at about day 3. If not for the complications I would have definitely wanted higher dosing, maybe somewhere in the 100mg to 200mg range.
