hi. i have "obsessive traits," and doing orthomolecular has helped. the big thing, I think, is the 6 grams of niacinamide. the orthomolecular people say to take at least as much vitamin c as b3 (whatever form). I take 20 grams time release C per day.
maybe taurine, at a high dose? there's limited data on using 4 grams/taurine w/ ongoing tranquilizers for severe mental problems (seems to help). w/ the actions at gaba and such, it seems like it might help.
l-theanine? i take the Suntheanine version now and then. when I take it, I go for about 600mgs on an empty stomach, and it helps me simmer down for a while.
