I dunno man. I just assumed I'd picked up some nasties and did a detox I put together for myself...for 6 months. It was intense...there was even vomiting, at random times. True story.
the vitamin C people within the Orthomolecular community seem to think that massive doses of C will, over time, detox. I think they max out at 18-20grams daily for maintenance and way more than that (orally...or by injection...or both...) for active infections, cancer, etc.
I'm down to 12 grams/C. I was on 20, till I couldn't tolerate it anymore. Maybe I'm detoxed and less crazed, at long last?
Alpha lipoic acid+NAC+C was effective for me...or at least, that was part of the line up. B-complex, biotin...also in there.
