Steinhauer-effexor withdraw/binging

Hello! I am a recovering bulimic. I am currently weening myself off of the antidepressant effexor xr and for some reason i can not stop eatin. I will eat 3 sandwiches in a row when normally i could only eat one. i don't really feel full and then 15-20 minutes later i will eat alot again. I'm terrified that if i step on the scale i will resort to my old ways... any advise?
