I'm not sure whether what I think I did was an issue. This person did reply to me after that incident, so I'm not sure. I'm so confused. :-(

I didn't ask face to face. I can't be totally sure this person heard my message, but I have tried to engage in conversation several times and didn't receive a reply.

I don't think that's it, but it's good to know there are other reasons for ignoring me than being angry.
