Well here's a story..
An old pastors wife had a GREEN poinsettia plant for about 5 years in her living room. She had company coming and stuck it in the closet to get it outta the way. She forgot about it. Didn't water it or anything. It was in there for over a month, she said. No water, no sun. When she went into that closet for something located in that closet she came across her old plant. It was RED and BEAUTIFUL. Dry as a bone, but great blossoms on it, and in time for Christmas too!
Just like that poinsettia plant, we do most of our best growing through those dark places in life. We learn something from those experiences.. and maybe we don't see it while we are in the dark, but someday it'll be clear. Maybe it was His plan to draw you back to him. I used to agree that people didn't need church to beleive. I know you have trouble getting out of the house, but church or even a bible study of some sort is an awesome thing. The fellowship, the peace, etc. I hope you feel that someday soon - when you get outta the closet you are in.
God Bless you,
Just me
