That was my first thought reading your post, that you might want to consider being evaluated for ADD. I have ADD, diagnosed (officially) 3 years ago, and now well stabilized by meds, education and therapy. But I was self-medicating with coffee and nicotine for my entire adult life before getting help. I still take in a lot more caffeine a day that my docs would like, but maybe a bit less than half of your amount.
Your description of no concentration without a stimulant does raise a red flag for ADD. Of course, many ADD symptoms overlap with and mimic other problems, such as depression, anxiety, and neurological probalems, to name a few. Best not to jump to any conclusions. But, if you'd like some links to websites with tons of info and several self-tests, let me know. Or you can just use Google and you'll find them.
Good luck. That much caffeine may eventully be quite a strain on the cardio-vascular system, and may worsen or even induce stress and anxiety. So it's probably a good idea to give some thought to the "whys" of using so much, just like you are ;)
