Thanks for your post. I can think of one resource you might want to look into. It's the "Skills Training Manual for Treating Borderline Personality Disorder". It will help out with the black and white thinking that we do. Your therapist might like it too. The first half of the book is more oriented for your therapist. The second though is the worksheets that will let you work on those things.
The philosophy behind the training is a blend of eastern and western thought. It has been effective for many people.
