I just went through a sorta similar roundabout about my care this week, so I feel for you more than you can know. At least you have someone advocating for you, which helps a lot. Thank goodness for your T -- sounds to me as if she cares because she sees the same things a lot of people here see in you, which is a mark in her favor. Now I guess the trick is to get you to see those same things, but that can happen later, once this immediate crisis is resolved.
Best luck to you, and I wish you the best of care. It is frustrating, and it's a cruel cosmic joke that we're faced with these things just when we are least able to deal with them effectively.
(Mine was dealing with the county, by the way. Since I'm uninsured, after my hospitalization last year they referred me to an agency that provides outpatient care. Since then, things have gotten much worse in many ways, and I called to see if there were any alternatives. Of course, since I'm the patient -- by definition, mentally ill -- I couldn't get anywhere except for the 'you have to go through that agency, but it's within your rights to file a grievance...' Um, great, but you aren't getting it -- that agency is the problem, and I have complained and that's made things worse for me. {{sigh}} I can't help thinking that if my husband had called, he might have gotten somewhere with them. But he doesn't do things like that. He leaves them to me.)
Anyway, warm thoughts, strength and best luck to you. I'm so glad you have someone on your side, even if you can't (yet) figure out why she is.
