> Hey, Dinah: I've read a lot of books on body language; fascinating!
One book shows almost every part of our bodies, and what it means (eyes, ears, nose, mouth, etc., etc)
I will look at see if I can find anything about the head tilt. One thing (having nothing to do with your question); one book said that if you have high (light reflecting cheekbones), then people will be envious of you and call you a snob.
That is hilarious, I have very high cheekbones, and no one who knows me, would EVER call me a snob, but people who don't know me....DO!
Guess all that stuff must be true, LOL
I have several ways of knowing as I enter my more emotional mode, but the most visibly obvious is my head tilt. The deeper I get into my emotional self, the more "pure" emotional I get, my head tilts more and more to my right side. To the point where by the time I notice it there's distinct muscle tension involved.

Or is it one of my idiosyncratic thingies? Will do my research; there's lots of stuff on how we sit, stand, hand, arm movements; the way our feet are pointed when sitting in front of someone, etc., etc......
hugs, Ally
