Good advice, tryingtobewise. You've got a great perspective, working for a T and having therapy.

What I would add is that gifts to T's are "supposed to be" nominal in price if the T is going to accept it. But it does not have to be nominal in meaning. Those are the gifts that are the most special...the things that hold a great deal of meaning or are otherwise symbolic of the unique relationship between you. And just about anything can fill that role if it means something to you.
