It really doesn't surprise me from your reaction, it seem perfectly normal in the situation.
I am sure the feelings will cycle again and again, at least it did with me. ;-) But you are probably closer to actually deducing your sessions than maybe a year ago, that is a good sign, of how well you are doing now. ;-)
