I was just about to point out that buggery implies a certain amount of winkle picking. "Roger's Profanisaurus" is an endless source of amusement and inspiration.
Me mam used to buy black pudding from the butcher's and I used to eat it when I was little. I couldn't stomach it any more when I found out what it was. Peculiar taste though. I was shocked when a professor on some TV programme once objected to vampirism because he claimed there was no nutritional value in blood - I remember thinking it must contain iron, protein and obviously fat (you can see where it congeals into white lumps), probably other minerals and vitamins too that the pig had absorbed. Now have any of you tried peas pudding? There's a true northern delicacy for you.
