As far as who I'd most like to meet, my answer to this question has always been one person: Stephen King. There's so much I would love to discuss concerning stories and such, but mainly I just want the opportunity to tell him how much his stories have meant to me. Through the absolute worst depths of depression, I could always find escape through his books. There are many I've read so many times they are like a familiar comforting hand when I'm stressed or upset. I can pick up books like "The Talisman" or "The Stand" and just open to any page and start reading. Its weird how it feels as though you know an author personally after reading so many of their books. Sorry I'm blathering on, but I was actually thinking of him today.

I chose Kathy Griffin, because she is so audacious and could cut my sister down to size without her even knowing it until it was too late! And she could take my mother's vacant smile and turn it back on her like a mirror. Kind of like, "what's THAT supposed to mean??" (Did you hear her describe the Olsen sisters as the Children Of The Corn??!! LOL!!)
So, having explained myself further - who would you like to invite to join your family this year?
