I think I'd invite the Dalai Lama. I haven't actually read his books, but from what I've heard he has a great sense of humor coupled with tons of compassion.
I have this vision of him grasping my mother at once, and in how he treats her I could gain a bit of that perspective myself. Perhaps he'd even be able to show me a bit of who my brother is.
And if he happens to show me a mirror to myself in his eyes, I'm hoping it would be compassionate enough that I could take it in.
I was with visitors to my mother's house the other day who appeared to be having a bit of fun at her expense. I didn't care for it at all, perhaps because she didn't realize it. Perhaps not.
