I'm interested to see if anyone has any feedback on this. I was thinking about what sort of medications would when combined create an acute (short term) effect similar to that off alcohol intoxication. Now i've researched and so far I know that alcohol roughly following effects on neurotrnasmiters:
GABA increase - thus disinhibition
dopamine,seratonin increase
glutamate inhibition (since it's excitatory neurotransmitter, this means more cns depression)
and some minor opiate neurotrasnmitter effects.
Any combination is obciously not going to be just like drinking but, nevertheless i'm trying to figure out a roughly close one that one that would result in disinhibition and some energy though and wellbeing like when u drink
I figure a benzo like (xanax) would be perfect for starting off (anti anxiety and short term fast acting). Do any of you have any suggestions on what else could be added to cause a quick increase in dopamine, norephinephrinee or anything else, that would mainly counteract the sedating effects of the benzo alone?( the benzo alone works for anxiety but at same time causes more sedation i think then alcohol) Or any other suggestions on what might work in combination? thanx
