Vesper. You sound awful right now. I don't think you have to worry about the disability being taken away. Once you get it, they generally don't push to hard to take it away, unless you are able to work full-time.
On how you are feeling though, and the self injury and suicidal thoughts--you sound out of control. If it was me, I think about taking a week in the hospital to settle down, have someone to help me fill out my disability papers, and just feel taken care of.
I've done that twice, the last time about five years ago. I really needed to do it, to get my meds straight, and to get away from any responsibility in my life until I got settled down. Each time was for a week and I came out in much better shape and able to tackle life again. So maybe you could think about this? Is there a decent hospital near where you live? Because its really important that it be a supportive, safe place. Hang in there, Shellie
