hi. Thanks for the info. I will do a bit of research and decide on one of those R MAOI's. Is Parnate better suited for more severe forms of depression?I called the pdoc to make an apointment but the guy is on vacation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so now I will have to get a new referal. And hopefully the doc will agree with the idea to try an MAOI. I am not willing to try another 'usual' anti depressant. I almost payed with my life.
and nope I haven't tried any stimulants. I wish I could. But surely a pdoc wont prescribe one. I always did want to try adderall. perhaps someone can mail me some? meow.
I am currently on adrafinil though (along with zyprexa) which is supposedly a mild stimulant. on 4 days+ so far. no effects yet it seems.

I have tried paxil, prozac, wellbutrin, effexor, celexa, and briefly adrafinil. All of them made my depression worse. effexor made me suicidal and same with celexa. I felt like escaping from the mental hospital since they were forcing AD's on me. I have also tried zyprexa and very briefly risperdal. With Zyprexa there is no worsening effect for me like the AD's.

Can this be a very reliable anti depressant? What are some of your experiences with this medication? Is it safe to take along with zyprexa? Please reply.
