At one point I was considering trying Trileptal as an add-on to my Lithobid. I did not come across the research that shows a possible increased risk of neurotoxicity when combining Lithium with ox/carbamazapine. If you can find the link I'd be interested in reading it.

Why does your pdoc want you blood levels so high? Is your dx BP I or BP II? I'm no doctor, but I'd think that much lithium would flatted anybody's creativity.
