Hi again,

I assume you are still on Effexor, or the Wellbutrin. Many of these drugs cause tinnitus (Effexor and Zoloft frequently do), and these sounds can vary with each individual (not just "ringing" noise; they can be buzzing, hissing, etc). Whether it is drug induced or not, researchers believe it is thought the noise originates in the brain and not in the ear.

Some nutrients that can be of help are zinc, ginkgo biloba, as well a lozenge form of vitamin B-12 (many people do not absorb the oral form, sublingual form is best) with folic acid. Also, a vitamin B-complex is helpful as well.
