be from Lexapro withdrawal ", not "Celexa". I will also mention that off all the SSRI's I have tried-Zoloft, Celexa, Wellbutrin, back to Celexa, Prozac-that the Lexapro dosage I am taking is working the best and with the least side effects for me. I also take carbamazepine (Tegretol XR) when needed to smooth out moods and reduce irritability during two week time before my period. I also have lorazepam (Ativan) which I take .5mg only when I need calming down within a half hour (works fast compared to carbamazepine). The carbamazepine was first introduced to treat a certain type of epilepsy, and it's off label use is as mood stabliser. I have no complaints about sleeping well at night any longer since taking Lexapro, and I can also say that carbamazepine helps me sleep well, too. I rarely take the Ativan, but if I do I usually end up taking it in the late afternoon/early evening, when I seem to get very energetic and most likely time of day to be irritable. Otherwise it is daily Lexapro for me-5mg taken in late afternoon, or 5mg at noon and 5mg in mid-evening.
