Thats the radioactive substance, which gets injected into your blood. More blood, more marker substance, more radiation. A gamma radiation camera captures the radiation and constructs the images.> Do you fit Dr. Amen's behavioral symptoms for temporal lobe dysfunction?
>Well, not exactly. But things like irritability, atypical pain (abdominal pain) and especially insomnia are characteristic for me. I dont have paranoia (at least I am not aware of this), rage and rather melancholia than sadness. But thats the type I can identify most with.
Actually I got the results, and *have* significant left temporal lobe hypoperfusion. The whole left outher parts of my bain shows hypoperfusion. The right part seems quite normal.
My doctor is sending me to a neurologist, to discuss further steps. He talked about epilepsy.Roland
