Hi Rod...
Your symtpoms sound similar to some of the things I've been going through for the last 3 years. My 2 EEG's showed mild slowing in both temporal lobe areas (no seizures, though)...an organic cause, they said. MRI's of the head were normal, as were all blood tests and even an LP. I can "feel" that the left side of my head seems to need a "jump-start"...do you feel like this? Also, my eyesight in my left eye just doesn't seem like it processes what it sees and the gazing of the left eye...oy vey! I'm on Lamictal right now (only 50 mg...Dr. wants me to work my way up to 200mg). In the past, SSRI's worked but pooped out I guess. Anyways, do you have an e-mail address where I could ask you some questions about your symptoms? Thanks.
