Hi! I'm on Zoloft, just going on it, starting at 25, now at 50 mg. Makes me jittery, but so do any of the ssi's. I hope there aren't any sexual side effects as I just got off Prozac cold turkey (not my choice!) and had a supposedly unusual hypersexual response. The doctor in the hospital said this has never happened before (?) with Prozac -- be interested in anybody who has had this effect........ I've found Zoloft to work well in the past, but I thought it might have contributed to problems with thinking things through. Still seeing if that's true, may have been Benadryl. Zolft really made me happy and now does too, but giddiness and shaking are bad side effects. I think the taking a deep breath moment for children may work. Ask him to concentrate and take a deep breath in for 5 seconds, let out 5 seconds. May calm him. Good luck!!!
