In my knowledge, Bipolar and BPD is VERY close related. Then, the med./med. combo. is also similar or even same med. regimen which means the meds. Abilify, Zyprexa and one more med. sounds to me like a good med. for the condition.
The reason why your pdoc. prescribed Ability and Zyprexa combo. is that Ability is a kind 'all purpose AP,' AP, depressive side and mood-stabilizer properties. Zyprexa before the bedtime offers you 'good night sleep' that is crucial for your next-day's wellness, in my guess.
I have no idea one more med. 'Halcion,' sounds like one of older class of psycho.-med.?
In my suggestion, try to trust your pdoc. and work towards good/right med. combo., because this is ONLY WAY to get relief.
