Okay, I am going to up the dose to 10mg, but only take it once, in the morning. Does this seem like a bad idea? I mean, as opposed to taking it in divided doses in the morning and afternoon. Perhaps I will stay on the morning-only regimen for a few days, then add in another 10mg in the afternoon to work my way into a divided dosing schedule.

I am getting some Valium in a week but for now all I have to combat insomnia is hydrocodone 5mg and GHB. The GHB is out of the question because I can't find any information on how it might react with MAOIs. I am worried about taking the hydrocodone on a nightly basis, but it seems like my only option. I have tried not taking anything, and I did not go to sleep at all.

Will taking 5mg hydrocodone nightly for a week or two present me with any addiction or withdrawal problems? Or would I be better off trying to get by on little to no sleep?
