Hi:
Both Abilify and Geodon is said 'activating' efficacy that causes insomnia and anxiety. However, all of psycho meds. have both positive and negative sides, then it's tough to say whether you can get a beneficial effect from either of them. Your pdoc., at first looks at your 'med.' history along with your 'up-to-date' Bp symptoms. Afterwards, your pdoc. is able to decide what/which med. is best for you.

Along with med. therapy, ... have you ever tried 'sunlight' therapy? Most of cases, the 'bright' Sunlight gives you Vitamin D which in turn eases your depressive symptoms to some extent. Walking or Biking under the day-time sunlight is good for both mental and physical wellness. If you never did, try to get 'Sunlight' as much as possible. If you live in the US ...., since now heading for the summer-season, walk along the river, park and any places where there is a plenty of 'bright' sunlight is DEFINITELY beneficial to the mental well-being. Also, Vitamin B, C, Calcium and Magnesium(sp ?) are all needed for depression along with psycho. meds. Eating fish is a good nutrient to the brain. I love 'fish-sandwitch' at Burger-King along with cooking on my own.
Try those, above until you see the pdoc.
H.G.
