I was on 10 mg's of Lexapro for around 3 weeks- I had a few visual hallucinations and suddenly felt suicidal, so I went down to 5 mg's for about another month.
Then I think for just a couple days, I bit the 5 in half and then just stopped cold turkey.
It's hard to describe what I went through after I quit but I felt like my entire central nervous system whacked out; I felt dizzy, had brain zaps, sounds were much louder, colors were too bright, etc.. It was weird.
It took me months to feel "normal" (at least *my* normal) again. That was the worst experience of my life.
