Does it seem right to try treating fatigue with Provigil when it is known that the fatigue is from auto-immune illnesses? Both doctors gave me samples but I have been reluctant to try them, as I am already on so many medications. Your thoughts??

If your function is so severely impaired, I don't see what you have to lose by trying Provigil (unless there are drug interactions to consider).

What drugs are you currently taking?
