Maxime-
You should be fine conintuing on Parnate through your surgery as long as you discuss it with all of your doctors including the surgeon and anesthesiologist. Demerol mixed with MAOIs can be fatal - but other opiates are ok. I had surgery while on Nardil and everything went fine. I was even put on strong pain meds afterwards and had no complications - however, discuss this with your doctors.
