I suppose I did find that it lowered my range of emotions a bit--didn't make me feel dead, but decreased highs and lows after being on it a few weeks. ...And it can have these cognitive slowing side-effects we've been talking about, though it doesn't seem to happen to most people. But I don't know if any of that is exactly a zombie effect... Most takers say it's low on cognitive side-effects compared to other anti-epileptic drugs.
