> I took klonopin in the past with great results but went off it because the dose I was taking was no longer working and I didn't want to increase it. So anyway, I've been taking Ativan for the last few years and it works only so-so. My doctor just prescribed .5 mgs of klonopin and I took the first pill this morning and it was horrible. I feel like I could jump out of my skin and thought I was going to have a panic attack. I wanted to take some ativan but wasn't sure if I could do that. My doctor is out of town until Mon and the pharmacist I spoke with said there is an interaction between the two drugs (they can increase side effects or something like that). But since I was taking ativan with no problems, why would klonopin make me feel so sick? Help!

> brookeWhat dose of Ativan were you taking? It sounds more like a withdrawal reaction to the Ativan rather than the Klonopin?
