Could the clonazepam be adding to your depression?
I only take 1.5 - 2mg/day & that alone tends to make me need 2 antidepressants/mood enhancing drugs just to cut through the mental 'numbness'. Examples (after starting clonazepam) have been Nardil + Lamictal/+ Provigil/+ Wellbutrin. And now Buspar + Lofepramine (I'm still on clonazepam 1.5mg/day).
Would it not be worth considering (with your doc) a trial with another benzo? Or even, perhapse, substituting some of the clonazepam with something like gabapentin?
As far as I'm aware clonazepam commonly adds to or even causes depressed moods with many people. So can some other benzos too.
