Neurontin: Can 1 dose daily work??

I am part BP II, and mostly deal with racing thoughts and irritability.

after all the anticonvulsants and antipsychotics, and 50 lbs heavier, i am trying Neurontin.

If I take it during the day, it makes me very depressed. But my large dose at night 1500mgs makes me feel good, and helps with sleep.

Any clues?
