The application is sent to Health Canada, and if it is approved, is forwarded to the manufacturer. The manufacturer then decides if they will supply the drug. Your PDoc has been using this system for other drugs, according to your first post. That's why I suggested your doctor just go ahead and apply to Hoffmann-La Roche. The Oxford company owns U.S. rights (apparently), but that may not (yet) apply in Canada, which has its own patent laws. So, this would be my first action.

Thanks for your informations!!!! Very usefull ;-) I was able to find the webpage and read it before I See your message but you explain all of this more easealy than them...So I have two options...My doctor import the drug by mail in the Canada...or I go to my local drugstore with my prescription and the pharmacist import it for me...I also write directly to the new compagny who own the Marplan...at the begining it was LaRoche, after it was Oxford (lack of publicity and money to promote the product) and now it's Validus...so I ask them if it was still on the Schedule F list of drugs, since the webpage of the CAnadian Border was outdated since a little while...I wait for an answer from them...
Finally, I stop the Manerix because it was not very good for me...increase of anxiety (I never have this before when I begin a new drug, I had to double my valium intake (not very a good sign for me, remember me a lot Effexor-XR or the PRozac at 30mg/day and more)...and also BIG migraines...after 3 days of headache, I just decide to stop it this morning...
I think if the Marplan plan doesn't work , I will return on the Nardil who have no side-effect on me...I mean no sedation or weight gain...except the orthostatic hypotension at a 90mg dose day...I had a partial answer on it, reduction of my benzo intake and anxiety level, but not the social anxiety, and it was not the perfect drug in any sense, I mean I don't improve a lot at 75mg/day, who was the daily dosage I take for the more long time...but I was still able to have a more normal life on it than the life I have now... I think if I look in the past and I try to figure out how I was at the time I try the Nardil, I Was defenitly in a more good mental health shape than now....I don't realise this before or when I was on the Nardil...but now I can say it was more good for me than I was thinking...
So well...that's it...if I have an answer from the Validus compagny, I will keep people here inform of how they can obtain it from another country where it's not avaible...
Another time, thanks for your precious help!!!
Have a nice day!
VIncent ;-)
