Thanks for the responses everyone. I do feel remarkably well today after halving my dose. I should really never have gone up, probably.
Phillipa, I see my pdoc three more times before he leaves in mid-september (the 18th). He'll be back for one week October 23 (I believe). Then gone week, then back for awhile. I gauge his age to be in the 70's--I feel he deserves the time off--and he doesn't want to initiate major change until he's back. And he wants me to make an appt. with his stand-in in case I may need it--he said i can always cancel. His call back stand-in was very prompt. So I'll be buckling in for a while. But on the 50 pristiq, I feel alright. Thanks for your concern, Phillipa, and everyone else who responded!
