Curcumin is supposed to be great at decreasing inflammation. But you gotta take it with Bioperine, which is found in black pepper. Otherwise, your body won't absorb it very well. Some Curcumin supplements come with bioperine already combined with it. But since these supps cost like twice as much, you could just get a regular Curcumin supp and take it with at least a teaspoon of regular black pepper from the grocery store. I've read this much black pepper should contain enough bioperine for your body to absorb Curcumin. But of course taking that much black pepper is a bit unpleasant.
I tried this and a friend of mine also tried it. It seemed like on days I'd take it, my mood was a bit better, but I suppose it could have just been a placebo effect. Though my friend said it helps him a lot.
