gas chromatography test for composition and purity; nuclear magnetic resonance for structure. you're probably looking at $60-200 for the nmr test. Some really simple chem 101 tests you can do at home, too like melting point and figuring out the molar mass and comparing it to the published data.

didn't realize longecity charges now! When I signed up years ago it was free. I don't know if there are any more group buys, but there are at least two people on longecity that sell it. One has a website that sells other RCs, the other guy just deals via pms and is about 1/2 the price of the guy with the website. I got it from the guy who deals via PMs. Check the last 10 pages of the 140-page thread on NSI there and you'll find him. There's a thread on sources there, too. Sorry for being cryptic but I'm not sure if we're allowed to discuss sources here for things that are not FDA approved drugs and clear patent violators.
