The CBD effect was mild and certainly different from the THC.
The THC had a few effects. Firstly, it slowed down my thinking. It seems to have some anti-inflammatory effects (feels a bit like taking an aspirin - reduced headache etc). I noticed some visual effects (tunnel vision, as well as seeming accentuation of patterns). Also, there was a feeling that familiar scenes / objects looked more unfamiliar / interesting. The first day, I noticed some mood elevation, the second day it felt more like a mood stabilizer.
I also had a very breif moment, where it felt like my brain 'reset'. It felt like the middle of my brain cleared out. To be honest, it felt like the initial stages of a buspirone dose (i.e. supression of serotonin firing via 5-ht1a autoreceptors). I.e. the background noise stopped and reduced self / other boundries.
Mind you, this is on low doses 1-2mg of THC.
Supposedly the CB1 receptors affect mood / appetite / sleep and the CB2 receptors have effects on pain / inflammation.
