Yeah, the first doctor seemed to think that a fungal infection so widespread wasn't likely. He said it only usually happens in immunocompromised individuals.
I had a really stressful moment about 2 years back, and employment related stress since then (prospect of job loss) that psychologically I haven't been able to surmount. I've really been feeling worthless for 2 years.
I wouldn't hesitate to think that my moods and my immune system are linked. When I have something growing on my body that I can't get rid of, it makes me fear that things are growing inside my body that I can't get rid of.
