Hi Scott,

Hope you're doing better than the last time we spoke.

The treatment really depends on the diagnosis, which is definitely not clear at this stage.

Biologics (often monoclonal antibodies) are used in dermatology... but only in very specific scenarios. Often, to treat severe extensive psoriasis which hasn't responded to first/second line oral medication plus topicals. Ustekinumab (Stelara) is an example. Biologics are particularly used for co-existing extensive psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.
