I'm on more of a stable sleep schedule currently (although I have been on a more stable sechedule in the past which didn't help all that much) and I've got a lot more anxiety.

If your brain cells were getting less than the desired amount of glucose, then you were running on fumes. Magnesium is just an all-around essential element. More than half of North Americans are deficient in it, and I think the proportion in the fatigued populations is even higher still.

The magnesium level probably hasn't been able to mitigate the anxiety level due to large recent increases in stress. Anxiety level is way up now which isn't all bad. I have needed to get moving on so many things. Just hope I can get the level down to something managable fairly soon.

Also, after reading the postings below, I'm wondering if, in addition to the chromium and magnesium, the fish oil I've been taking hasn't finally kicked in to allow for more of this clarity I've been experiencing lately. I can't remember exactly how long I've been taking it but my guess is somewhere around 6 weeks now. (I've only been taking 1 gram because of the bad acne side effects I've experienced in the past in my EPA/DHA trials. I haven't had any of that yet on this brand and dosage. I think I may try doubling the dose to see how that works.)

Also, I remembered after sending the orginal post here, that I've been taking the adaptogen maca again for a couple of weeks now. That made me feel a lot better all around the first time I took it. I think that has had a postive effect here as well - though how much of my lessening in brain fog I can attribute directly to it, I couldn't say. I guess that's the same for the rest of the supplements I've been discussing here.
